The Position

This new Global Learning & Development Director position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education within the nonwovens industry. Leading professional education programs, ideally within trade or professional associations, with a proven track record of success.

The successful candidate will be passionate about advancing professional education, results-driven, and capable of delivering transformative learning solutions that meet industry needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Consolidate and enhance existing training offerings while designing innovative professional development programs that address evolving industry needs.
  • Industry Collaboration: Partner with technical experts and stakeholders to ensure program content is relevant, impactful, and aligned with industry priorities.
  • LMS Management: Implement and oversee a global Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery and accessibility.
  • Market Engagement: Build strong connections with members and industry leaders to expand program reach and engagement.
  • Sales and Growth: Develop innovative strategies to drive sales, increase attendance, and grow the business by aligning delivery methods with market needs and expectations.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay informed about professional education trends to ensure offerings remain competitive and cutting-edge.

 

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development or professional education, preferably with trade or professional associations.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful education programs.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with expertise in driving program attendance and growth.
  • Experience managing LMS platforms and exploring innovative education delivery methods.
  • Experience with trade organisations and familiarity with international or multicultural environments are highly valued.

Whilst we have a strong preference for candidates based in the Brussels, Belgium, or Cary, NC, USA areas, remote applications from other EU or US locations will be considered.
