Noelia Fernandez moves on after 11 fruitful and enjoyable years with EDANA EDANA appoints new Office and HR manager Catherine Cathala joined EDANA in August and will support the General Manager, while also overseeing mem-bership administration, relations with Board and Officers, and corporate ad-ministration. Additionally, Catherine will oversee HR projects within EDA-NA. With a proven track record in as-sociation management, and human resources, Catherine also has experi-ence in project management linked to events, membership development and educational programs. Catherine holds a DES in Human Resources, and as a coach in pro-fessional development, and with an international professional background, brings a wide scope of experience and understanding to the EDANA Team. Noelia Fernandez, EDANA’s Director of Administration & HR has decided to explore new possibilities away from her home of the past 11 years. The EDANA team are united in wish-ing her the very best while sad to see her go, she is a gregarious, engag-ing and inspiring colleague. General Manager, Pierre Wiertz writes: “Much to my regret, Noelia Fernandez informed me that she will be leaving EDANA to pursue other opportunities after devoting more than 11 years of her career to serving EDANA mem-bers, the Board and the EDANA team, in successive capacities of Executive Assistant, Events Manager and late-ly Director of Administration and HR, where she played a key role in en-gaging with members and listening to their needs. “It is obviously with sadness, but also with great respect and recognition that I look back at those long years of collaboration, which helped shape EDANA’s organisation to the level we have achieved nowadays. Noe-lia’s ability to connect with people and quickly create strong bonds with senior managers and other compa-ny representatives alike, her talent for clearly communicating essential information required for the govern-ance and daily management of the association, as well as her unique linguistic skills will be both remem-bered and missed. “Many of us will remember special and precious moments shared with Noelia both in Brussels or at EDANA conferences and meetings across Eu-rope, or at INDEX™ or IDEA exhibi-tions. And it is with these fond memo-ries to mind that I naturally wish her the very best on her next adventure, bonne route et bonne exploration Noelia!”
